PARENT & CARERGIVER TRAINING

When it comes to behavioral conditions in children, we know it can take a toll on parents/caregivers. Parent training is an essential component in our ABA services. In our trainings, we offer caregivers a variety of tricks and techniques to assist with managing their child’s behavioral condition more effectively. This leads to a decrease in problem behaviors, confident parenting, and a greater acquisition of language and social skills for your child.

Common topics discussed during parent & caregiver trainings are:

• Non compliance
• Food acceptance
• Task completion
• Following directions
• Acceptance of “no”
• Difficulty with transitions

Parent/caregiver trainings are done at home and in your community by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
